ArmorDraft Terms of Service

Effective: June 21, 2026  ·  Operated by Armorstack, LLC ("Armorstack," "we," "us")

1. Agreement to These Terms

By creating an account or using ArmorDraft (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

ArmorDraft is a decision-support and bid-acceleration tool for licensed fire-protection professionals. It generates preliminary estimates, bill-of-materials drafts, compliance summaries, and design sketches to support the bidding and estimating process.

ArmorDraft does not provide engineering services. All output is preliminary and must be independently reviewed, validated, and sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) before any permitting, fabrication, or construction use.

3. PRELIMINARY Output — Critical Limitation

Every output produced by ArmorDraft — including estimates, compliance checks, BOM drafts, hydraulic calculations, and AI-assisted takeoffs — is labeled PRELIMINARY and carries the following restrictions:

  • Not suitable for construction contracts, permit submissions, or final engineering documents.
  • Not a substitute for a licensed Professional Engineer's review, stamp, and seal.
  • Based on user-supplied inputs; accuracy depends entirely on the accuracy of those inputs.
  • Based on NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 reference data as of the selected code edition. Local amendments, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) interpretations, and field conditions may differ materially.
  • Catalog prices are estimates for planning purposes only. Actual material costs vary by region, supplier, and market conditions.

References to NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 are provided for informational purposes. NFPA standards are copyrighted by the National Fire Protection Association. Users are responsible for obtaining and complying with the applicable adopted edition.

4. Permitted Use

You may use ArmorDraft to:

  • Generate preliminary cost estimates and BOM drafts for bidding and proposal purposes.
  • Support pre-design planning and feasibility analysis.
  • Accelerate takeoff workflows under the supervision of a licensed PE.

You may not use ArmorDraft to:

  • Represent output as a final engineered design, stamped drawing, or PE-approved document.
  • Submit output directly for permit approval without independent PE review and seal.
  • Circumvent local code compliance requirements.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service's proprietary algorithms or rule engines.
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Service.

5. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@armorstack.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account = one organization. You may invite additional users under your organization subject to your subscription plan. Each user must accept these Terms.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of your project data, drawings, and uploaded files. By using the Service you grant Armorstack a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service (e.g., to improve AI extraction models). See our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Schedule for details.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Free tier features are available at no charge subject to usage limits. Paid plans ("Estimator," "Professional") are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods. Downgrade to a lower tier removes access to gated features at the next billing cycle.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARMORSTACK'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ARMORSTACK IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. IN NO EVENT SHALL ARMORSTACK BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.

Armorstack is not liable for any loss, damage, or liability arising from reliance on PRELIMINARY output without independent PE review, from permit rejections, from construction defects, or from any use of the Service in final engineering documents.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data is retained per our Data Retention Schedule and then deleted.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
